Imagine trying this on Saturday morning.

So what you’re saying is that when it gets cold
your tractor gets cranky?

It’s parked in a heated garage so the cold does not affect it.

This was effectively my Subaru this morning. It’s too cold for even my car.

It’s parked in a heated garage, so the glow plugs were not hot enough the first try.

New glow plugs. Get the “ultra fast heating”kind if they are available for your tractor. I only need about 2-3 seconds of preheat in temps above 30 degrees F, and more than 10 seconds is just wasting time, no mater how cold.

When it’s plugged in it starts right away with out heating them up.

above 50F ambient I don’t have to use the plugs at all... but even when it’s cold the fast heat ones rock. What is that thing a 1.2l? It shouldn’t need a big preheat to start. That’s why I suggest new glow plugs... if you don’t know when they were last changed it’s probably been too long. They do have finite lifespans...

1L. It’s a 2008 so the glow plugs are probably old.
